Viele von Ihnen haben bereits aus den Medien von der Sicherheitslücke im Programmiersystem PHP erfahren. Auch verschiedene Dienste der Universität Bremen laufen über PHP-Systeme, etwas die Universitäts-Website, Stud.IP, Nextcloud und Jobrouter. Um Schäden zu vermeiden, werden wir die Systeme mit sofortiger Wirkung vom Netz nehmen. Uns ist bewusst, dass das für viele von Ihnen eine Einschränkung mit sich bringt. Wir bitten Sie um Verständnis für diesen Schritt. Sobald die Sicherheitslücke geschlossen werden konnte, werden wir die Systeme wieder anschalten. Hierüber werden wir Sie erneut über diesen Weg informieren.

Many of you have likely seen the news about the vulnerability in the PHP programming language. The University of Bremen's website, Stud.IP, Nextcloud, and Jobrouter are among the multiple services that run on PHP systems. To prevent potential damage, these systems will be taken offline immediately. We are aware that this will cause inconveniences for many of you and we ask for your understanding regarding this necessary step. The systems will be restored as soon as the vulnerability has been resolved. We will notify you when this occurs using the same means of communication.
